What we store, and why.
Who
HOODIE, contact victor@hoodie.space. This page covers hoodie.space and the Early Affiliate program.
Account
When you sign in with Google we store the provider’s user id and a one-way hash of your e-mail address. Your account gets a random temporary handle instead of your Google name or profile photo. The hash is used only to keep one account per person. We do not store the e-mail itself. When you sign in with a wallet we store the wallet address. We retain your signup date and successful login timestamps internally while your account exists, to keep track of early participation. These records do not by themselves issue a badge.
HOODIE Launchpad
Signing in on the HOODIE launchpad, with Google or with a wallet, creates your HOODIE account here if you do not have one and connects it to the launchpad. While connected, the launchpad receives your name, handle, picture, rank, commission rate, invite link, wallet address and how much HOODIE you hold and for how long, to show you your own profile. You can disconnect it on the launchpad at any time.
Wallet and balance
We store your connected or Google-created wallet address and its HOODIE balance, with the time of each read. Your referrer can see your holdings. Other users do not see your full wallet address, unless you switch on "Show my HOODIE name on the launchpad" on the launchpad: then the launchpad shows your name, picture, rank and Fomo handle next to your wallet in its holder and trade lists, until you switch it off. Seat qualification and allocation remain paused during the registration preview.
Google sign-in and wallet
If you sign in with Google, the sign-in runs through Privy (privy.io), which creates a wallet on Robinhood Chain for you. We store its address like any verified wallet. The private key never reaches HOODIE; only you can export it, from your wallet page.
Referrals
If you open a valid invite link before registration, we save its code in a cookie for 30 days. Opening another valid invite replaces it; visiting without an invite keeps it. Your referrer is stored permanently at registration, or when you confirm a one-time choice later if you registered without one. Referrers see your handle or a shortened identifier, the date you joined under them and your wallet’s HOODIE holdings. Never your full address or your e-mail. Opening a referral link is counted, with a hashed address, for 180 days.
Technical
We keep a session cookie, hashed IP addresses and user agents for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and server logs for up to 30 days. We count visits to hoodie.space and this site ourselves, without cookies: the page, the site you came from, whether you use a phone or a computer, and a code made from your hashed address and browser that changes every day, so we can tell how many people visited on a day but cannot follow anyone from one day to the next. We keep these counts for 13 months. We use no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics.
Launch notice
If you leave an e-mail for the launch notice, one message goes to that address asking you to confirm it. An address that is never confirmed never gets anything else and never reaches a list. Once confirmed we store it until the notice is sent or you ask us to delete it, every message carries a link that stops it for good, and we send nothing else to it.
Your rights
Write to the address above to see, correct or delete your data. Referral bindings are append-only by design; deleting an account removes the personal data behind them, not the pseudonymous records.
This page can change before the token launch. The current version is always here.
